In this enchanting work, the artist captures the essence of an intimate and luminous Paris. Painting Diploma obtained at the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna Italy in 1987. Subsequent experience of painting en plein air in various locations in Italy including Lake Como where the artist stayed for long periods. Here the artist improved his experience in the study of the subject live and the study of colors and lights that the landscape offers. In 1992 he emigrated to the United States where he began to exhibit oil paintings on canvas in galleries in the metropolitan area of Washington D.C.. In the same period he began the experience of mural paintings in Trompe L'oeil for public and private places undertaking activities as a freelancer using the acrylic technique. In 2002 he moved to New York where he remained for 10 years. In the Big Apple he continues assiduously to work professionally as a painter of Trompe l'Oeil and easel paintings with success. This experience was crucial to improve his skills as a landscape artist, and also gave him the opportunity to gain visibility and recognition within the cultural and artistic industry, since the places he decorated are visited by Hollywood actors, directors and international rock stars. Back in Italy he continues to paint on canvas experimenting with various techniques including oil, acrylic, inks, soft pastels and watercolor. The most recent paintings show a little-known but highly appreciated and impactful ink-on-canvas technique. In January 2024 an article on the artist's biography was published in the New York magazine "Zone NY Magazine" which deals with artistic and cultural events in that city; this article is visible in the News section. In July 2024 the artist exhibited at the famous Francis Barlier gallery in Paris in the 8th arrondissement, in a group show organized by "Horizon Paris 8e Art" art collective and an online art gallery based in the 8th arrondissement of Paris since 2021, which brings together talented, emerging and established contemporary artists. In November 2024 the artist exhibited at Espace Beaujon in a group show, Rue du Faubourg St. Honoré in the 8th arrondissement of Paris through Horizon Paris 8 eme art which brings together talented emerging and established contemporary artists.
