Serhii Kovalev, architect, artist. Born in 1989 in Kyiv. Lives and works in Kyiv. At the age of 13, he entered the art school named after T.G. Shevchenko (Kyiv). In 2013, he graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Architecture. In 2014, he joined the team of architects "Archnamet", which determined further activities in the direction of tactical urbanism. From 2014 to 2018, a number of projects were created in this format. Among others, we can single out the "enlight/slavutych" project, created in 2015 as an autonomous open-type office (coworking on solar batteries). In 2014-2015, he worked at the company "Atelier Metropolitano", which deals with revitalization projects of slums and favelas. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2015, the founder of the "atelier. Intooutside" project, designing public spaces, residential buildings, subject design, interiors. Participant of many collective exhibitions, and on May 15, 2018, he opened a personal exhibition of creative works "cobweb". In 2018 and 2022, the resident of the artistic residence named after the hero of the Heavenly Hundred, Nazarii Voytovych, p. Travneve, Ternopil region. Since 2018, he has been working as an architect in the architectural company "Lev Designs Ukraine" Kyiv, Ukraine. Headquartered in Sacramento, California.
