Ocean Leagues

Resin finishes like glass once it is cured with a brilliant permanent gloss. I worked with pigments and a blow torch to create these webby ocean layers. I wanted to capture that beautiful transient aqua in tropical waters crashing into the sand. I used real sand paste underneath the resin to get a rich depth to the piece. It is calm and inviting and is frequently commented on in my gallery.
