This work is from a series of minimalistic landscapes, made in my author's style. Everything that surrounds us has simple forms. Taking the real landscape as a basis, I decompose it into components of lines, squares or rectangles, figures of indefinite shape and connect them together. Work with color happens in the same way. I simplify the color rendition of nature that surrounds us and making the viewer to pay attention to the basis. Sometimes I fit into my minimalist landscapes completely non-natural figures both in color and in shape, and this in my opinion gives interesting new and unexpected connections.
Artist Hanna Denysenko was born in 1987 in Dnipro, Ukraine. She began her professional artistic career at the age of 30. Before, she had the experience of scientific research in the field of Political Science and defended her PhD thesis on the theme: “The role of political forecasting in the making of Public Policy”. In addition, she had experience in the practical field of Ukrainian politics as a political strategist. After which, an irresistible desire came to translate all the gained experience into a more fundamental direction as the creation of artistic artifacts. Also interested in researching of the theme of human nature, its physical and metaphysical particular qualities: from the features of human intellection and perception of reality to the human physicality and sexuality. Furthermore you can find in artist’s artworks a visual rethinking of the diversity of the surrounding nature in minimalist landscapes and still lifes with main accents that are revealed in artist’s perception.
