About the artist

She was born in 1996, in the city of Luhansk, Ukraine. Since childhood, she was engaged in dancing, organizing and helping with activities at school. In 2014, she helped with the opening of an art space in Luhansk. Tugan Baranovsky and moved to Kyiv in connection with the situation in Luhansk (war). From 2014 to 2018, she worked in the field of sales, had her own souvenir shop and studied at the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies to become a manager (bachelor). 2019 - 2020 completely retrained as a photographer thanks to the courses and photography practice. While searching for inspiration, Valeria became interested in art and began to study art history. Since October 2021, Valeria has become a resident of the Kyiv collage workshop CUTOUT COLLAGE STUDIO. Valeria's works could be seen in the Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv, the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide, CUTOUT COLLAGE STUDIO in Kyiv, Ukraine, as well as in Madrid, Spain, Tel Aviv, Israel, Tonsberg, Norway, Berlin, Germany, Kranj, Slovenia and Copenhagen, Denmark.
