A beautiful vortex motion pattern appears in this abstract expressionism painting with vibrant red, yellow, salmon pink, orange, dark blue, refreshing turquoise, light pale gold, and deep iridescent gold. The negative space is created by painting the undercoat white and adding high-quality acrylic paint in a spiraling movement on top; the piece is textured with a high gloss finish. My name is Alexandra Romano, I am an artist living and working in Toronto, Canada. My passion is creating eye-catching artworks which include bold colour schemes; vibrant abstracts that stand out as a focal point in any space - a conversation piece. I am an abstract artist, who delights in the freedom of abstraction and the ability to explore impressionism and expressionism. Works are frequently inspired by nature, geometric elements and life all around. I work primarily with acrylics and I enjoy experimenting with oils, ink and spray paint too. I rely on a natural, intuitive approach while creating my paintings. I craftily use unorthodox tools and my signature techniques to create texture to give the piece interesting depth and a unique design. I love to experiment and be present during the whole process as I observe each piece come to life, layer by layer; it's my meditation.
