I’m Victoria Shul, a contemporary artist based in London, originally from Ukraine. I mostly work with acrylics, oils, gold leaf, textured paste, epoxy resin, and other mixed media. My process is very intuitive and emotional. I don’t always start with a clear plan; it's more about what I feel in the moment and how I can express it through layers, texture, and symbolism. After the war started in Ukraine and I had to move to London, painting became something much more than just creativity for me. It turned into a way to process everything I was going through to heal, to ground myself, and to stay connected with who I am. That moment changed how I approach art. I began painting more actively and honestly, with a stronger emotional charge behind each piece. My work often touches on inner transformation, feminine energy, strength, and the kind of quiet beauty that’s easy to miss in everyday life. I want people to feel something when they see my art, not just look at it, but really connect with it on some deeper level. I didn’t go to art school. I'm self-taught, and I’ve just kept exploring and evolving over the years. I find inspiration in dreams, emotions, nature, and the way certain colors or textures can speak without words. My style moves between abstraction, symbolism, and something more spiritual and emotional.
