Contourism - what is it? This is a modern artistic style created by Ukrainian artist Simon Dmytro, its main goal is to highlight the main subject with a clear outline (copper, aluminum or other wire). Hello, I am an artist from Ukraine. My painting is a bold search for myself in the world of color, forms and emotions. I paint abstract paintings, still lifes, figurative compositions and experiment with various techniques - from oil and acrylic to gouache, markers and mixed media. My art combines intuition, observation and the desire to convey a state, mood or impression without unnecessary words. I do not have an academic art education, but this allows me to work freely - without restrictions and fear of doing "wrong". Each of my works is an experience, experience or idea that I strive to visualize and convey to the viewer. At the center of my work are people, nature, internal states and visual symbols of the modern world. I create paintings that can be interpreted in different ways, and I believe that it is this openness that makes art alive.
