Sergey Tyomny is a self-taught artist from Ukraine. The pseudonym 'Tyomny' (Dark) did not appear by chance. It is connected to my inner world — to those moments when darkness, complex thoughts, and anxieties reigned in my mind. But it was through this darkness that I learned to seek the light, to see unusual images, and to transform inner experiences into art. I did not receive a classical art education; my path into art began through my own perception of the world and a desire to convey what cannot be expressed in words. My life has been marked by the experience of battling schizophrenia, and this journey has changed my perception of reality. I see the world around me differently — through unique images, emotions, colors, and symbols. It is this unusual perception that I strive to convey in my works. My paintings combine the human inner world, fantasy, memories, and reality. I create pieces in which every viewer can find their own meaning and feel another side of the familiar world. My art is an attempt to show the invisible: the emotions, thoughts, and images that are born within a person. It is a path from darkness to light, where each painting becomes a reflection of the inner world and a personal story.

I am an artist from Ukraine, working in the style of dark symbolism and biblical epic art. My works are inspired by ancient legends, religious themes, Norse mythology, and the struggle between light and darkness. I create atmospheric pieces that convey the power of faith, mysticism, and the drama of the human soul. Each work is an attempt to depict the eternal struggle between good and evil through expressive imagery and a powerful, emotional composition.
