I am a self-taught artist and former journalist, born in 1986. In 2012, I graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Moldova State University and worked as a journalist for the newspaper Trud for a few years . Later I made the decision to leave journalism behind and dedicate myself fully to art, a passion that had always been quietly growing inside me. My underwater theme, which has become one of the strongest representations of my artistic identity, was inspired by my father. He was a professional fisherman, and throughout my childhood, I was surrounded by stories and experiences from the lake and its mysteries. This deep connection with water and aquatic life stayed with me, and today, it flows naturally into my paintings, where I explore the beauty and rhythm of the underwater world. Over time, my creative journey has expanded beyond the lake. I began developing new themes, such as vibrant jungles full of life, black-and-white minimalistic abstractions that explore balance and flow, and cosmic visions inspired by the universe. Each theme reflects a different part of my inner world, yet all are connected by my signature dot art technique, intricate details, and a deep fascination with nature and life’s hidden patterns.
