About the artist Mykola Kocherzhuk

I was born in picturesque mountain small town in the south of Urainian’s Carpathians. It’s from here that I began my creative career that closely intertwined with the landscape genre. In 2011 I finished V.Stefanyk Precarpathian National University at specialty fine arts. I am working in different genres, however I prefer landscape painting and his philosophy. For me personally important to portray emotional connection between person and nature. That's why I’m often working on plein air, it improves my feelings of color and space, which are necessary when I creating my paintings. My workflow is to combine two styles such as impressionism which is most pictorial and abstractionism which is most emotionally spatial. It's combination I portray at big canvases in my studio. Less
