I began painting as an explorer, not fully knowing when or if creation would end. I constantly asked myself whether the art I created would have its own boundaries, or whether the process would ultimately be equivalent to the final result. Years later, I can say that this story has no end. I paint what I know—what's close to me, figures, still lifes, and landscapes—but I place these "messages" in abstract spaces. I combine my love of color, form, line, and design. I work in a constant state of experimentation and discovery. My materials include oils combined using my own technique on evergreen supports with collage—media whose very nature allows me expressive freedom. I work directly on large supports, on walls, using surprising tools, applying various techniques, textures, a rich palette, or monochromatic effects. As a painter and photographer, artistic development is crucial to me. Although transformation is challenging on many levels, it forces me to go beyond what I think I know and feeds my inquisitive nature. I continue to challenge myself and push my artistic boundaries. My success lies in my paintings finding their audience.
I studied Civil Engineering at the Łódź University of Technology. I am self-taught, with artistry stemming from my father's roots.
