Meliha Yilmaz

Meliha Yilmaz was born in Kastamonu in 1969. She was appointed as a lecturer at Gazi University in 1991. She received her master's degree in 1993 and her doctorate in 1999 from Gazi University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Painting Education. She was appointed as an assistant professor in the same department in 2003 . Dr. Yılmaz passed her tenure examination in 2010 and was appointed as an associate professor in the same department. Dr. Yılmaz has been teaching visual arts courses at Başkent University since 2003-2010.

She has opened seven solo exhibitions and participated in many mixed exhibitions on national and international platforms.

She graduated from Söbütay Özer workshop of Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Painting Education. She was appointed as a painting teacher at Elmadağ Namık Kemal Primary School in the same year.
