Laura Antonia Maria Bazzero

An eclectic personality, full of apparent contradictions, a curious lover of life who lives intensely, exploring every corner. The result: a very hectic life in which she tries to find space for everything while simultaneously maintaining her freedom, which is the only true achievement in the world that allows us to live without compromise. Although she has always loved drawing, both from life and from imitation, Laura Bazzero never actually pursued the traditional profession of painting. Stimulated in various fields, her studies, and her life in general, have taken multiple paths. Her passion for oil painting, deepened with the teachings of master Armando Buratti, will always remain a constant that she never abandons. Collaboration with another painter allows her to learn the use of acrylic paint, which will expand the possibilities of pictorial effects. With the aim of deepening his techniques, he created master copies of works by painters such as Raffaello Sanzio, Leonardo da Vinci, Giulio Romano, P. A. Renoir, A. Sisley, Utrillo, P. Cézanne, V. Van Gogh, and Kokoschka, to name just a few. A distinctive style began to emerge towards the end of the 20th century and established itself through realistic painting, modeled on the world around us, clearly captured in the places and moments experienced by the artist. A trip to Australia in 2018, which allowed him to explore the technique of Aboriginal painting, sparked the works that have since followed, featuring abstract compositions on panels: veritable explosions of color.
