I was born in 1948 in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From a very young age, I drew on any sheet of paper or surface I could find. By the age of 16, I was earning money from my art. My body of work, in my Portfólio-Gallery, begins with a painting from 1966. Since then, I have ventured into watercolor and mastered oil painting and drawing techniques. As I traveled the world, I created countless drawings and paintings of the places I visited. From 1997 to 1999, I lived in Lisbon, Portugal, sketching countless corners of that beautiful country. Fascinated by France, I produced drawings and poems depicting numerous cities, resulting in three major consecutive exhibitions between 2008 and 2010.
