Jason creates textured abstract paintings using a variety of mediums while drawing inspiration from his world travels. The images of beautifully decayed walls and doors of of old colonial towns and villages across the world help to inspire the use of texture while while nature helps to create his color palate. The use of straight lines and geometric shapes helps to bring balance to the sometimes chaotic process. Jason believes a painting is finished when it has become his new favorite allowing him to start the process of creating over and over again.
