About the artist Irina Anis
My practice is driven by a simple yet profound mission. I want to create art that evokes happiness and emotional warmth. Through the interplay of color, texture and expressive form, I aim to share a sense of light and presence with the viewer. Living and creating in Portugal, I draw constant inspiration from the natural luminosity of the country and everyday visual poetry. This includes everything from coastal horizons to fleeting human expressions. I am deeply interested in the relationship between atmosphere and emotion. I use painterly language to translate lived experience into moments of quiet joy. My work is a balance between observation and feeling. Each canvas serves as a bridge between the visible world and its emotional resonance, inviting a sense of connection and reflection.
