Being a part of the Armenian diaspora has made personal identity and origin a vital part of Eliza’s work. The fragments that constantly appear in our lives that we allow to slip away unnoticed. Her paintings are about transcribing and piecing together the puzzle of her heritage through the affinity of form, colour and the moment.
