Carlo Mercadante

I describe what I see as I can and with the means I have. I seek beauty, not aesthetics. I observe and tell. Or at least I try to do this. I do it as a singer-songwriter and as a music publisher I try to help others do it. Since I discovered photography I also do it with images. I like the street and what it hides, nature with its generosity, the femininity that never ceases to amaze me and every detail that says to my eye: "observe me and tell". I photograph digitally, I use post-production as a form of interpretation and not correction. I love that my subjects are free to be what they want to be. That they reveal what they want how and if they want.
