Andrii Kulagin

Andrey Kulagin was born in Kazakhstan in 1961. He has been living in Ukraine for about twenty years now, today he is a famous Ukrainian artist, the owner of a wide creative range: landscapes and still lifes, portraits and laconic graphics. His portrait of John Paul II, along with the works of Raphael, Titian and Bryullov, is in the gallery of the Vatican Library. Commitment to the realistic school, does not prevent the artist from experimenting with form and color in new genres, as a result of such experiments there was a personal exhibition in the Center for Contemporary Art in Paris. Main awards Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the Gold Medal of the Apostolic Capital (Vatican) Today the artist's paintings are in private collections and galleries in Austria, Australia, Great Britain, the Vatican, Germany, Italy, Libya, the Netherlands, Poland, the USA, Slovakia, France, Russia

More than 100 personal exhibitions in Ukraine. Including at the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris in 2008. Also in Germany in 2023.
