Varvara Gavrilyuk was born on January 18, 1985 in the village of Kremidovka, Odesa region. Varvara received her first artistic education at the Odesa Art School №2. Studying at Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (2003-2008), she continued to study art at the Painting Department of the Grekov Odessa Art School (2007—2012) under Valentin A. Zakharchenko. Varvara has been actively participating in regional exhibitions since 2006, and in all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions since 2012. Since 2015, she is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Actively participates in plein air painting sessions.
