Robin Vandenabeele

Robin Vandenabeele is a photographer based near Bruges in Belgium. Traveling extensively for work landed him with a desire to document all the visited places and moments. As an autodidact in photography Robin is not hindered by restrictive traditional methods or techniques. There has always been a large amount of experimentation in his photography for example by using outdated films and cross processing during development. After all, experiments and mistakes have in the course of history produced a few of the worlds best known photographs and even became fashionable trends afterwards . After seeing results from a in-camera double exposure technique he became quickly interested in the further possibilities and has since created several series juxtaposing city- and landscapes using both film and digital cameras. Robin constantly strives improve the quality of his works by refining his double exposure technique and investing in higher quality camera gear.
