Photography has been one of the main constants throughout my life and landscape photography has been the main creative driving force. It has always been a perfect synthesis between my love of photography and my love of the Australian landscape; in particular, the rugged northern regions of Western Australia. Throughout my adult life I have made many solo journeys into these regions to explore and photograph their unique and amazing beauty. Then quite recently, when I first had the opportunity to try aerial photography for myself, it was like being struck by lightning (figuratively speaking of course). I immediately knew this was the style of photography I was meant to do. It suited my aesthetic approach perfectly with the use of colour, pattern, shape, texture and light to create images of great depth and ambiguity. I have since had the opportunity to take aerial photographs over Shark Bay World Heritage Region in Western Australia, the Southern coastal region of the Kimberley in Western Australia and around the Yeppoon region in Northern Queensland.
I have only exhibited my photography online.
