This painting by Valentina Matienko poses non-trivial questions about human interaction with nature. The composition, filled with philosophical undertones, prompts reflection on the value of living things in all their diversity. At the same time, the image of a bull's heart becomes a symbol of the choice between a technocratic attitude towards the world and harmonious coexistence with it. Each brush stroke is executed with special subtlety, turning the still life into a mirror for introspection and reflection on the topics of ecology, philosophy and the choices that each of us makes when looking at life and interacting with nature.
Valentina Matienko I was born in a picturesque village in the central part of Ukraine Podillia. From early childhood was surrounded by nature, folklore, books. I received a pedagogical and economic education. I became interested in painting in 2005, since then, have never parted with canvas and paints. The training of the painting was partially held in the studio of the Honored Artist Panchuk F.V. , while developing myself individual artistic handwriting. Besides, I study the psychology of color. I'm looking for my place in painting. Since 2008 I have been participating in the annual regional art gallery exhibition, which takes place in Vinnitsa. Works are in private collections. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2023.
