Biography : Shchabelsky Yuri Alexandrovich, born in Odessa (Ukraine by nationality Russian, citizenship of Russia) on July 24, 1984. He was interested in painting since childhood, and therefore, starting from the 5th grade at school, he also attended classes at the art school named after Kostandi (Odessa). In the process of studying at school, he took part in exhibitions and competitions, so in 1999 he received a grand prix for participating in the competition "Man and the Planet" held by UNESCO among schoolchildren. After graduating from school, he entered the Odessa National Maritime Academy, in the process of studying he spent several trips around the world (being a cadet on training ships). The city of Odessa is located on the Black Sea, which influenced the desire to paint. Even in the Odessa Art Museum there was a large collection of paintings by Aivazovsky and I spent hours studying his technique, as a result I understood the whole algorithm for constructing paintings by Aivazovsky. In 2011, he opened his school of seascape and not only “New art room” in Odessa, and taught painting to adults. The school also prepared applicants for admission to art universities in Ukraine and Russia, helped with preparation for graduation theses, including students from China. At the same time, I am getting a 2nd higher education, a pedagogical degree in the specialty "teacher of painting" at the Ushinsky Pedagogical University (Odessa). Also, all this time I have been developing as an artist under the pseudonym “Water Man” or “Water Man”, I take part in exhibitions (in Switzerland, USA, Russia, Ukraine). I get into the top 50 marine painters from Instagram. I sell paintings all over the world (USA, Argentina , China, EU and many others) After the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, my family and I moved to Russia, because. in Odessa they began to threaten us as Russians. I had to stop my activities and in Russia I started everything from scratch. At the moment I am developing my online school via the Internet (School of seascape Water man art)
