Description of the Artwork “Scrabo Tower: Spring's Embrace”

This painting is a poetic tribute to the tranquil beauty of the Irish landscape, with Scrabo Tower standing proudly as the focal point of a spring morning. The artist’s Impressionist style breathes life into the vivid greens of the grass and the soft blues of the sky, transporting the viewer to a moment frozen in time. The interplay of light and color captures the essence of the Irish countryside, evoking emotions of peace, wanderlust, and a deep connection with nature. It’s not just a portrayal of a place but an invitation to immerse oneself in the serenity and charm that is uniquely Irish.

About the artist
GEOFF WARKE

GEOFF WARKE, United Kingdom

I like to create what I call "HAPPY PAINTINGS " and this portfolioincludes a selection of my favourite paintings. I was born in Belfast, N. Ireland and have recently retired having spent over 40 years as a Director / Partner in the Construction Consultancy Sector as a Project Manager / Cost Manager on such projects as Titanic Signature Museum, South West Hospital and Belfast Metropolitan College to name a few. I am self taught and use oil on canvas or board and have a preference for impressionism style of art and intend to produce more paintings utilising seascapes especially beaches, landscapes, buildings including infrastructures such as bridges and abstract. My aim for the future is to produce more and better "Happy Paintings " going forward.
