Description of the Artwork “Flashes of autumn”
Late of Autumn. Puddles frozen. Coat essential; sheepskin chosen. Sunshine temperature deceives. Winds away the stubborn leaves. Butterflies a distant thought. A warmer place the winglets sought Summer’s colours briskly fading. Winter’s birdsong serenading. Poets, authors rush to capture. Autumn’s all too fleeting rapture. Soon be Winter, log fires burning. Waiting Spring. Seasons turning.

I transfer images of the natural world to paper or canvas, working in various media including. I am inspired by classic and abstract styles and I believe the marriage works.
