A 6000 YEAR OLD BOND- STAR CROSSED LOVE Love- the greatest power in the universe, is the theme of this painting. The canvas portrays the Stone age lovers excavated in Italy 6000 years after they were buried. The theme evokes in the beholder a sense of awe for the timeless, enduring strength of true love. It appears that even Mother Earth had not the heart to destroy the final display of the young lovers' yearning for each other, and she chose to preserve them in the eternal embrace forever. 3 tone colouring and subtle shading imparts an aura of great age to the painting. The intertwined red roses symbolise the union of the lovers' hearts. The theme as well as rendition touch a chord in every heart and leaves behind a sense of the enduring timelessness of true love. Born in 1941 in a traditional South Indian family ambience in Pinjai, at Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu, he opted for it his outstanding urge in the specialization for training himself for only in art education. After completing his formal academic studies. He underwent rigorous training in the Government College of Fine Arts, in Kumbakonam and was successfully awarded advanced diploma.
